About the Heavy Metal Tour®

The 2024 Heavy Metal Tour® is a unique initiative designed to introduce over 4,000 eighth-grade students to the vibrant world of manufacturing. This event is held in partnership with Mid-State and Northcentral Technical Colleges, providing students with a firsthand look at the exciting opportunities within our industry.

Why Participate?

Your participation in the Heavy Metal Tour® offers numerous benefits:

• Educational Impact: Provide a unique learning experience for at least 40 students, guiding them through the fascinating aspects of manufacturing and engineering.
• Brand Exposure: Each student will receive a T-shirt featuring the logos of all participating companies, enhancing your brand’s visibility.
• Safety and Logistics: Students will be equipped with safety glasses and transported to and from their schools to various manufacturing sites, ensuring a safe and organized event.

Cost of Participation

The cost to participate is $650, which covers all expenses for 40 students. This includes:

• T-shirts with company logos
• Safety glasses for each student
• Transportation to and from manufacturing sites

The average cost per student is $35, encompassing all necessary elements to ensure a memorable and educational experience.

Educational Collaboration

Our partnership with Mid-State and Northcentral Technical Colleges adds significant educational value to the tour. This collaboration provides students with insights into higher education pathways in manufacturing, showcasing real-world applications and academic opportunities within the industry.
